Admin/Finance Officer
A vacancy has arisen to join our small, friendly, and welcoming school community.
Required from 1 September 2026, the successful candidate will work within our busy school office and act as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, visitors, governors, and the wider school community.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys working in a school environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and IT skills, together with the ability to remain calm, professional, and positive while managing a range of responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, discreet, and proactive, with a good sense of humour and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The ability to use initiative, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
· Strong administrative skills and experience across a range of office functions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all members of the school community.
· Strong IT skills, including confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and a range of school management systems.
· The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm and professional manner.
· Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
· A methodical and efficient approach to work.
· The confidence and initiative to respond effectively to the day-to-day demands of a busy school office.
· Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond positively to change.
· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
