High Green Primary welcomes a very special visitor, Dr. Marie Tidball MP.

We were delighted to welcome Marie Tidball to High Green Primary School on Monday and share with her some of the things that make our school so special.

Marie spent time visiting our Breakfast Club, where she saw first-hand the positive start our children have each morning, including our free breakfast offer which ensures every child is ready to learn. She was incredibly impressed with the calm, nurturing atmosphere and the care shown by our staff.

She also enjoyed exploring our wonderful outdoor spaces, including our developing allotment, where children are already busy planting, growing and learning about sustainability. It was fantastic to showcase how we use our environment to support both learning and wellbeing.

We were particularly proud to share The Nest, our newly opened nurture and wellbeing space, which is already making a real difference to our pupils.

Marie also visited classrooms and spoke with our children, who represented the school brilliantly and were excited to share their learning and experiences.

A huge well done to all of our pupils and staff , you made us incredibly proud.
