The staff in F2 are Mrs Coe who is the class teacher, Miss Lathan and Mrs Evans are the Teaching Assistants.
In F2 we enjoy a creative and child centred curriculum where children follow their own interests and dictate their own learning during child initiated learning (in the moment planning ITMP). Phonics, reading, writing and maths are taught through whole class and small group teaching.
F2 explore the Woodland on a regular basis which includes activities such as den building, minibeast hunts and learning about the animals that live there and their habitats.

We like to celebrate the children’s achievements inside and outside of school. We welcome show and tell items and discussions for example; swimming certificates, natural objects and photos of religious cultural experiences etc. During the pandemic we would still like to celebrate such achievements and this will be carried out using our Seesaw messaging service.

In F2 our class pet is Tommy Turtle, the children will learn all about what is like to have a Turtle as a pet as he is a big part of our classroom.

Throughout the year the children will have an opportunity to share with the rest of the class their weekend experiences (show and tell). Using Seesaw a crib sheet of ideas will be sent home to support with this activity. On Monday the child will tell the class all about their adventures.
