Y6 Blog May 2019

Dear Parents/Carers, what a term this has been! From SAT’s preparation to actually taking part in the tests and then bowling and prep for our end of year production. It has definitely been jam-packed and full of exciting things.

In English we spent the time looking at grammar and punctuation, as well as working on improving our assessment tasks. Next term we will be working on creating a recount based on events of the fatal night the Titanic sank.

In Maths we have worked extremely hard at understating and answering questions. Next half term we will begin putting what we have learnt into practice by creating our own business and thinking of our profit margins and budget.

In Science we will begin our work on the circulatory system.

In Topic we will continue to investigate the Titanic disaster. We have already created some amazing pieces of art depicting the Titanic in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
