Extreme Reading

Extreme Reading

Dear all

As a bit of fun and to keep reading high profile, we have started a display in school called Extreme Reading.

This is for photographs of children, friends and family reading in ‘extreme‘ places. This maybe on top of a mountain, in a forest, in a secret den, in a dark loft, in an igloo, at the very top of a castle tower, even in a caravan! (I know that to some, caravanning may not be considered extreme but to others it really is extreme and should not be attempted under any circumstances!!)

We will be speaking to the children about making sure their extreme reading is carried out safely; reading whilst sky diving or swimming with sharks is perhaps best avoided!

We will be introducing it to the children this week and will keep the display going for the rest of this academic year to allow for some extreme holiday shots!!

The children can bring their photographs in or send them via email and we will print them off for the display.

We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Many thanks.

The English Team.
